A few
photos from
The Royal
British Legion Service of Remembrance
Medmenham
Church
11th November
2008
The Standard was paraded into the church by members of the
Hambleden Branch of the
Royal British Legion, and a single trumpet expertly marked the beginning
of the two
minutes silence at 11 o'clock with The Last Post
and the end with the Reveille.
At the
end of the service the wreath was laid at the war memorial with the
Kohima Exhortation:
When you go home
Tell them of us and say,
For your tomorrow
We gave our today.
