Traditional Services using the 1662 Book of Common Prayer

Modern Formal Services

Informal Services and those more suited for children

BCP Holy Communion:
A quiet service without hymns or sermon. (30mins)

Group Service - A monthly joint Holy Communion service for all churches with choir, hymns and a sermon. (1hr)

Church
Sandwich– takes place every first Sunday at a different church each month. Especially for families, there are songs, prayers and crafts with refreshments in the middle.

Evensong: A service of evening prayer with hymns and a sermon, with traditional canticles. (1hr)

Holy Communion: A Holy Communion service with hymns and sermon; some churches have choirs, some use traditional language. (1hr)

Village Service – at Medmenham on the 3rd Sunday at 11am the village service is very informal, contains 3 well-known hymns/songs, a short sermon and one scripture reading, no communion or choir, and refreshments afterwards. (35 mins)

Compline – a service of quietness and reflection before rest at the end of the day. (30mins)

Morning Worship: A Lay-led service with hymns.
