“Church Mice”
The “Church Mice” meet at Turville School at 9.30am on the third
Sunday of every
month for an hour of storytelling and fun activities based on a
religious theme. We
then join the congregation at St Mary’s Church in Turville to show
them what we
have been doing and, after the service, enjoy coffee (or juice) and
biscuits.
Our recent projects have been Noah and the Ark when the
children made a big Ark
and lots of animals to go in it and The Creation when the
children made big, colourful
pictures of the sun shining down on the sea and land with lots and
lots of trees!
All children (of any age) from the Hambleden Valley (and their
parents) are very
welcome to come and join in. Why not give it a try?
It’s a great way for everyone to get to know each other.
