Hambleden Parish Church

This beautiful 12^th century cruciform church stands at the heart of one of the most attractive villages in the Chiltern hills in Buckinghamshire.

Hambleden Parish Church is first and foremost a home to a thriving family of  Christians who regularly gather here to worship God and to find inspiration for daily life. As a wonderful church set in a beautiful valley we also enjoy making welcome many hundreds of visitors annually. We would love to welcome you.

Hambleden Bell ringers 2009

On Thurs 7 June 2007 there was a 7.30pm Choral Eucharist for the Feast of Corpus Christi and afterwards refreshments in the Parish Hall to celebrate Christine Wells' 50 years as organist at Hambleden.

Every Friday, 9am, is a service of morning prayer in the Lady Chapel

Every Saturday during Lent, 12noon to 2pm, Lent lunch in Village Hall.

Tuesdays 2nd, 9th,16th, 23rd and 30th March
8pm, Lent Group at The Rectory.

Friday 5 March
2.30pm, Women's World Day of Prayer.

Sunday 14 March Mothering Sunday
11am, Morning Prayer with posies for the children.
6pm, Choral Lent Evensong - more details.

Thursday 1 April Maundy Thursday
7pm, The Last Supper - simple meal and meditation, Skirmett Village Hall.

Friday 2 April
2pm, Last hour of the Cross.

Saturday 3 April
7pm, The service of Light.

Sunday 4 April Easter Sunday
8am, Holy Communion.
11am, Eucharist joined by URC, Pheasants Hill, followed by Easter egg hunt and Easter bonnets and painted egg competitions.
